An agency’s dangled a deal at me. Should I ever sign an exclusivity clause? How did you all handle this?

Confirm they actually exist, then track down someone they represent and ask how it's gone.

Forty percent's steep. I'd only give that up if they landed me work I couldn't get alone, plus vetting.
