Commit to one niche first. You can widen later, but early on focus is what gets you noticed.

Before any studio, shoot solo on your phone. Cheap reps, and quick feedback on what actually sells.

Check your reflections, cover any ink, scrub the EXIF. Boring, but that's the stuff that leaks who you are.
